The "official" college tour offers an abundance of good information. However, another valuable source are students not formally associated with the recruitment process. When you tour a college campus whenever possible, speak to students who are not associated with the college's "public face". You will find them at the college cafeterias and restaurants and at the "work out" areas. These students will provide you an additional perspective that will augment the "official" perspective of the college.
